ESL One Katowice: Fnatic and Na'Vi smashed their opponents

The top seeds of group A proved their status by scoring an easy wins in the opening matches against the challengers.

The top seeded teams of group A, Fnatic and Natus Vincere came to this tournament as The Legends and they had to meet The Challengers, FlipSid3 Tactics and VOX EMINOR. The map for the Ukranian duel was de_mirage which is known to be the best map of both Na'Vi and FlipSid3. However, Na'Vi proved the favorite role and took an early lead and a full control of this match under their way which resulted into 14-1 at the end of the first half. As Na'Vi was moving to less favored T side, FlipSid3 was looking for their chance after winning a very close pistol round. However, Na'Vi were stopped only at their second won round as Na'Vi took an easy 16-2 win.

In the other match we could see more or less same scenario as we saw in the first. Fnatic and VOX EMINOR battled out on de_inferno where Fnatic proved once again that they are one of the best teams in the world on this map. They closed the first half with 13-2 and moved on to T side where they just routinely played the remaining rounds for 16-3. Fnatic and Na'Vi will meet now in the winners match, while VOX and FlipSid3 will play in the elimination match.
