LGB eSports have announced that former NiP player Mikail "Maikelele" Bill will be joining their CS:GO roster as a stand-in, replacing longtime player Morten "zeves" Vollan.
The news comes following a disappointing 9-12 place finish in ESL One Katowice 2015, after losing to PENTA Sports and EnVyUs in the group stages. These performances caused the LGB eSports organization to make a roster change, replacing Morten "zeves" Vollan with Mikail "Maikelele" Bill.
Maikelele had the following to say about the situation:
“I’m happy to announce that I will play as a stand-in (trial) for the organisation I once represented and created. LGB eSports is my roots and it will be fun to play for the amazing brand that have been one of the most known names of all names. I can’t say anything about the future but I can say that if this works out, I can see a great future with these guys, they have a lot of potential to become a really good team.”LGB eSports also added the following:
“Its with great pleasure that we welcome not only a great player but a great friend back into LGB eSports, Maikalele. We hope he enjoys his stay with us and that we can reach new heights with him.”LGB eSports will now have the following roster:
Håvard "rain" Nygaard
Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad
Ruben "RUBINO" Villarroel
Pål "Polly" Kammen
Mikail "Maikelele" Bill (stand-in)
