
After the great success with the Open in 2014, DreamHack announced the 2015 edition which will feature a whoping $350,000 prize pool in total and a two new countries on the list.
The main change from the 2014 circuit is that DreamHack will feature for the very first time a two official titles, StarCraft II and Counter-Strike:Global Offensive. The Open tour will have its premier in France on May 8th where the first CS:GO tournament will be played with $40,000 up for grabs.

DreamHack stated that their Open tour will be open to both professional and amateur teams, which means that they will allocate 50% of the slots to teams coming from the qualifiers. The top four teams at each tournament will be featured on the live stage where they will have a chance to win the title of DreamHack champion.
The format of Counter-Strike:Global Offensive is set to a standard group stage into single elimination playoffs. Eight teams will compete at each stop for $40,000+ where the two of those will be qualified through the BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) qualifier.
