Jaryd "summit1g" Lazar has announced via Twitter that Preston "juv3nile" Dornon has replaced him in Area51 Gaming.
The news comes as a slight surprise given his very respectable performance in recent matches, carrying the team in many instances and almost always top fragging.
Well, I was just released from Area51. They are going to be using Juv3nile over me, he's a great player. GG, was fun.
— summit1g (@summit1g) February 24, 2015Many in the community have gone on to speculate and claim that the reason for his departure was because of Summit's job as a full-time streamer, and that streaming the matches would give away some of the team's strategies. However, an official statement from the Area51 Gaming organization has not been posted as of yet.
