Skillage has announced the first edition of Balkan Championship sponsored by Hitbox.
Skillage is bringing a CS:GO tournament for all the top teams from Balkan region which will take a place in February. This will be a chance for the teams to grab a cut of a $500 prize pool and also to establish themselves as a strong competitor from this region.
There will be a total of eight teams participating at this tournament where the five of them got directly invited. The last three spots will be filled from the online qualifier which is scheduled for January 22nd.

The eight teams will be placed into a round robin where they will play each other in best-of-three matches. The top four teams will move on to the double elimination bracket which is also gonna use a Bo3 format, although the grand final match will feature a best-of-five match with the advantage of one map for the team coming from the upper bracket.
