ESL have announced the sixth iteration of their famous Pro League featuring top CS:GO teams of the world.

ESL have revealed details pertaining to Pro League Season 6, successor of ESL Pro League Season 5 that saw G2 Esports take the title in Dallas, Texas, United States this June, pocketing $225,000 in prize pool earnings. The prize pool for season five sported $750,000, whereas ESL upped the ante for season six, offering $1,000,000 in winnings, equating potential winnings to a Major event.

League play will commence on Tuesday, August 22nd spanning over the course of seven consecutive weeks, with online matches taking place in both the North American and European regions. Five new teams have entered the fray for season six, namely  GODSENT and  BIG for Europe and  Ghost Gaming,  Splyce and  Enigma6 Group for North America. The underdogs will test their capabilities against some of the finest CS:GO teams in the world, hopefully securing a placement in the LAN finals come conclusion of league play. 

All matches will be streamed exclusively on ESL Counter-Strike's YouTube channel.
