Natus Vincere's ex-Coach Sergey "starix" Ischuk returns to professional play in the form of a Team Captain for Team Spirit.

Sergey "starix" Ischuk returns to professional play in the capacity of a team captain for the CIS roster of Team Spirit. Ischuk will be filling the shoes of Anton "kibaken" Kolesnikov that departed from the roster at the end of March, currently representing the recently announced Spartak roster.

On Friday March 10th the Ukrainian was relieved of his role as a coach at Natus Vincere. The team's results were going downhill after the implementation of coaching restrictions, with the prior exacerbated by the departure of In-Game Leader, Daniil "Zeus" Teslenko. Finally management made a judgement call citing that the team needed structural change, removing starix from the coaching role, replacing him with the team's Analyst, Andrey "andi" Prokhorov. After a short while of dormancy the ex-pro player has decided to return to an active role.

For those unaware Sergey "starix" Ischuk is considered to be one of the most prolific CIS players known to Counter-Strike. The 29-year old was part of rosters such as KerchNET and the legendary Natus Vincere, maintaining a spot in the latter for nearly three years. Over the course of his stint at Na'Vi during Counter-Strike 1.6 times the Ukrainian and his teammates were able to consistently secure top placements.

Following the addition of starix, Team Spirit is composed of the following five individuals:

 Sergey "starix" Ischuk
 Pavel "COLDYY1" Veklenko
 Vadim "DavCost" Vasilyev
 Dmitriy "Dima" Bandurka
 Dmitry "S0tF1k" Forostyanko
