PvPro and ELC Gaming announce the Legend Series, a €6,000 prize pool tournament aimed at up-and-coming teams.

The Legend Series is a recently announced €6,000 prize pool tournament aimed at giving up-and-coming teams much needed exposure to the CS:GO scene. The tournament will be held over the course of March, with the grand final scheduled for April 1st at "The Garage" near Hamburg, Germany. A total of twelve teams will participate, eight of which received direct invites and four of which will be determined through two open qualifiers, each containing 256 slots. Matches during the open qualifier will be best-of-one, single-elimination. Teams interested in signing up may do so by following the links presented in the schedule segment below.

Distribution of the €6,000 (including travel compensation) prize pool is as follows:

1st place - €2,000 + €1,000 travel compensation
2nd place - €700 + €1,000 travel compensation
Finalists from groups - €400
Runners up from groups (3rd, 4th place) - €250

After the four teams from the open qualifiers are determined, the tournament will enter the playoffs stage. The twelve teams will be drawn into two groups of six, where we will see a best-of-one, round robin format. The victors of each group will receive invitations to the LAN finals of the tournament held on April 1st at "The Garage", offering live view, as well as an online broadcast.
