
FaZe acquires NiKo
Earlier in the week, North American organisation FaZe Clan announced that they had agreed to part ways with Philip "aizy" Aistrup, who has now been revealed to have signed with North, leaving the team with only four players in their starting roster. At the time, many speculated it would be former teammate Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom that would be taking the spot; however it appears that was not the case, as FaZe issued an official announcement of their new fifth this week: Nikola "NiKo" Kova?
MAJ3R secures spot in Space Soldiers
Space Soldier's roster has been in a state of limbo since November of last year, when the team said goodbye to long-time member Tugay "TuGuX" Keskin following his decision to leave the team in order to take a break from competitive play. In the interim, Space Soldiers opted to trial a new face to the roster, Engin "MAJ3R" Kupeli, who has been confirmed as permanent member this week.
Splyce adds SEMPHIS
Splyce has already sourced a replacement this week for Asger "AcilioN" Larsen with their signing of Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen, formerly of Team SoloMid. Friesen has a storied career in the North American scene, having served under big names such as Cloud9 and compLexity Gaming.
aizy out of FaZe, signs with North
The North American-based organization announced that they decided to put one of their star players, Philip "aizy" Aistrup, up for a transfer to FC Copenhagen-owned North. The Dane's departure comes as a surprise to many as FaZe has been consistently putting up solid placements in the CS:GO circuit, having just recently made the quarterfinals of the ELEAGUE Major in Atlanta
Team EnVyUs announce new roster
DreamHack announced the second iteration of their tournament in Malmö, Sweden - DreamHack Masters: Malmö 2017. The tournament will take place at the start of the autumn season on August 30th - September 3rd. Sixteen of the top CS:GO teams in the world will converge at Malmö to face each other for a piece of the $250,000 prize pool.
