PGL announce that they will be organising the $50,000 European Minor Championship.

PGL have announced that they will be hosting the European Minor Championship at the PGL Studios in Bucharest, Romania on November 4th-6th. The tournament serves as a precursor to the highly anticipated ELEAGUE Major 2017, taking place in January 2017. Eight of the finest European teams will fight for two spots at the ELEAGUE offline qualifier in addition to a portion of the $50,000 prize pool.

Prize pool breakdown:
1st place - $30,000 + Ticket to ELEAGUE Major 2017 offline qualifier
2nd place - $15,000 + Ticket to ELEAGUE Major 2017 offline qualifier
3rd place - $5,000

So far four teams have received direct invites : Fnatic, Heroic, Space Soldiers and HellRaisers. The remaining four slots will be decided in the near future, as the open qualifiers come to a conclusion.
