PGL have revealed that they will be organising the CS:GO Minor Championship Asia.

Popular eSport event organisers PGL have announced a collaboration with eGG Network to bring you the $50,000 CS:GO Minor Championship Asia, a precursor tournament to January's ELEAGUE Major. The event will feature a total of eight teams, composed of two invitees and six qualified teams. Contenders will be fighting for two slots for the main qualifier for the ELEAGUE Major 2017, as well as a slice of the $50,000 prize pool. The LAN Finals of the CS:GO Minor Championship Asia will be taking place at the Pinewood Iskandar Studios in Johor Bahru, Malaysia on October 28th-30th.

The prize distribution for the CS:GO Minor Championship Asia:
1st place - $30,000 + Slot at Main Qualifier for ELEAGUE Major
2nd place - $15,000 + Slot at Main Qualifier for ELEAGUE Major
3rd place - $5,000

 Renegades and TyLoo have received direct invites to the tournament. The remaining six slots will be filled by teams from China, East Asia, India & the Middle East, Oceania and Southeast Asia. Each of the regions is assigned a number of slots, you may find them below:
