Ence and MK secure spots at ESEA’s $50,000 Season 22 Global Challenge LAN

Play in the first qualifying group for the Global Challenge LAN, Europe, has concluded with ENCE emerging victorious over AK47 (19:16 on Train and 16:8 on Cobblestone) , and with MK defeating ALTERNATE aTTaX (11:16 on Cobblestone, 16:9 Overpass, and 16:12 Dust2).
AK47 and ALTERNATE aTTax leave the tournament without a spot at the LAN but with a $2,500 consolation prize, while the bottom four teams leave empty handed. The European bracket was relatively small, with only eight teams, and the playoffs will continue with the North American bracket, another small bracket with eight teams.
Simeon "dream3r" Ganev, infmaous for his ban from all Valve-sponsored events due to a preivous VAC band, was among the MK players to qualify for the LAN finals.

There are still six spots left at the LAN finals, 2 for NA, and one for Brazil, Australia, Asia, and South Africa. The finals will take place at ESL’s studios in Katowice, Poland on August 27-28 and will feature an $18,000 grand prize for the winners.
