Here is a guide how to check in and operate around the system, such as the bracket, the match pages and reporting of results.

First, presuming you have registered already (if you haven't, check the following guide), simply press the "Check-in" button as displayed above. It is important that you check in if you intend to play, as only teams checked in will be part of the bracket at the time of qualifier start.
Once the bracket is up, you will find it by clicking the new button for Bracket.
Doing so will send you to the actual bracket, where you will have all the matches. In the example shown, we are using a smaller bracket with just eight teams but the concept is the same. Click a match to open the match page for that specific match.
In this example your team is SelfTeam1 and you are SelfCaptainA, the captain of SelfTeam1. Your SteamID will be seen at the match page (in the example both captains SteamIDs are the same, but once again, it is just an example). You will also have the option to contact admins through the "Reports & Messages" and report the result of the game through "Enter Result". Note that you report the result for each game of the match. If it is a best of 3 match, it will contain between two and three games, meaning a result needs to be reported two or three times. Only one team needs to report the result.

You can also find the usernames of the players of each team at this page. Below the line-ups you have the comments section.
Important things to post in the comments field to make things smoother
- initiate communication with the other team (unless you use the SteamIDs for this)
- post a message when the first game starts (so admin knows the match is active)
- in case you are facing some issues or delays (such as a player being temporary away), please write so in the comments field
- anything you can think of that may be relevant, really
When pressing Enter Result, you get the following pop-up box. Note that the field Map will not be displayed for the best-of-1 rounds.
As Winner you set the winning team of the individual game and for Result you keep it as "Win" provided the match was played properly. The other options are "Forfeit" (if the losing team forfeited the game) or "Disqualification" (if the losing team was disqualified, but normally the admin would result the game for you in this case). To successfully save the result you also need to upload the replay of the game as a .rar file.
Now, provided it is one of the best-of-three rounds (rounds of 16 / 8 / 4), you will also need to set the map which the game was played on. When everything is set, press save and continue into the next game. If it was the last game of the series and you won it, you will be automatically moving on in the bracket. If you lost it, we say thanks for playing the Alienware Awesome Cup and you are welcome back to play the next qualifier!
At any time, feel free to contact admins and other team captains in the Awesome Cup Steam group.
