Only 12 hours left until Competitive Play goes away for a few weeks. Make the most of it, before you are stuck playing QM again.

Season 1 of Overwatch's competitive play might go into history as being the season that provided the most amount of changes. Over the course of the last months (the season started on June 28th) Blizzard has made numerous changes to appease the players, such as officially supporting a hero limit, and adding the timebank system. They also added the Golden Weapon rewards, and made the first steps toward the Top 500 leaderboard.

Well, in 12 hours that same first season will come to an end. The plan has always been to have 2-3 month long competitive seasons, followed by a few weeks of break (probably to make the players crave competitive so much more once it comes back again).

For those of you who are very much interested in competitive, you can try to climb a little bit more for these last few hours. For those of you who are not interested at all, you might want to give it a try today if only to get a special spray and player icon for finishing your placement matches:

A few changes have already been announced for Season 2. So if you are interested, find out more here.
