Overwatch Pit Championship NA Playoffs Day 3 - When two guarantees became one

The final few matches of the Overwatch Pit Championship for NA.
The first best-of-five matches of the tournament started off with a bang, with Selfless and Rogue clashing in the Winner's Bracket finals.
Upper Bracket Finals: Selfless vs Rogue - Rogue wins, 2-3
Arguable the most-hyped match of the night, Selfless and Rogue first started their best-of-five on Nepal. Village was easily taken by Selfless. On Sanctum, however, Rogue proved that they can be as aggressive as Selfless is, Nicogdh getting a triple kill with his Dragon Blade to clean up the rest of Selfless to take a commanding lead and get to 96% and eventually able to capture the round. The two teams shared the next tow maps, then with a final push from Selfless, Rogue dropped their first map of the tournament.
Dorado was up next, with Selfless not looking as coordinated as they were in Nepal and Rogue being able to shut them down just before hitting the second point. Rogue was able to overtake that point no problem, easily overwhelming Selfless to take Dorado quite easily.
After that breakneck round, King's Row was next. Rogue almost full-held Selfless, but they were able to overcome the Rogue tide to start their push, albeit with a limited time bank. Rogue, on the other hand, wasn't able to capture even the first point, resulting in their second dropped map of the night.
For the first time in this tournament, Rogue was against the wall and was in danger of losing the match. They started out strong on Route 66, holding out Selfless for quite a while before they could move the payload, but once Selfless was rolling, they were able to move with little restraint. Rogue finally caught up to them and held Selfless just meters before finishing the map, which allowed Rogue an opening. It was an opening that they capitalized on, completing the map and besting Selfless on Route 66 to bring themselves to match point.
Lijang started with back-to-back Rogue wins, thanks in part to AKM and s00n's fantastic DPS play and Nicogdh being, well, Nicogdh. With that second win, it was Selfless that had their backs to wall, with Rogue now having a chance to reverse sweep Selfless on Lijang to win the map. Sinatraa almost solo-carried Selfless to a Lijang win, but it wasn't enough to stop Rogue, who eventually overpowered Selfless to take the last point and the match, 2-3.
Lower Bracket Finals - Selfless vs Team Liquid
Selfless bounced back from their loss against Rogue relatively easily, quickly winning Iios' Ruins in what felt like a blink of an eye. Liquid answered back on Well, taking and holding the point. Despite some heroics from Defran's Soldier: 76 that allowed Selfless about half of point charge, it was basically a one-sided round, with Selfless taking the win shortly after. It was a 4K from ID - and a Resurrection from Dahang - that allowed Lighthouse to go the way of Liquid, who were now one round away from winning the map. Dahang's Resurrections were on point all night, but his Ruins play was particularly strong when a clutch Resurrection brought his team back into the game and eventually allowed them to win the round and the map.
Map two was King's Row, which ended up going to Selfless to tie up the score again. Both of these teams have been improving their own play over the past weeks noticably during this tournament so a lot was at stake to prove themselves the top of NA and the rightful second finalist.
