Overwatch mascot struts her stuff in Heroes of the Storm ahead of her own games' release. The addition of Tracer to the hero pool was announced at Blizzcon last year.
Fan favorite and Overwatch mascot Tracer made her debut in the Heroes of the Storm today for those who preordered the Overwatch: Origins edition. She is the first character from Blizzard's upcoming FPS to cross over into the Nexus. To accompany her release, Blizzard created this fun hero trailer:
The hero spotlight features Tracer zipping around Heroes of the Storm maps cracking jokes and introducing herself to some of Blizzard’s most legendary characters with her trademark happy-go-lucky attitude. The trailer also has a quick cameo from Tracer's arch-nemisis, Widowmaker. This leads to speculation as to whether Blizzard is going to add Widowmaker as the next OW hero, or if they are going to start adding Overwatch-related skins in the near future. Overwatch currently has so many amazing skins, and we are willing to share with the Heroes section.
Tracer will be an assassin-type hero and will be available to everyone starting April 26th.
