Today Blizzard released Part 2 of the Story So Far, a recap on how the three races from StarCraft are doing.
The first part explained the original war between the Protoss, Zerg and Terran in StarCraft. It chronicles the rise of Terran Emperor Arcturus Mengsk, the discovery of the Zerg and the subsequent loss of the Protoss homeworld. The next series tells of Sarah Kerrigans rise to power as the ruler of the Zerg, also known as the Queen of Blades.
Whats in Store?
This chronicle also reveals something not so well known about the Brood War thus far. Zeratul, fleeing his home planet of Shakuras, has discovered a source of Protoss energy on a near by moon. He investigates the powerful energy source only to find a monstrosity in creation. A Protoss-Zerg hybrid is being engineered by someone, but who?

The original is ten years old so there may be need for a bit of education to fully remember the story. Will the Protoss dominate the universe and defeat the Overmind?
