Honkai: Star Rail has revealed that its Version 3.6 Update, “Back to Earth in Evernight," will be released on 24 September with new forms for March 7th and Dan Heng in Evernight and Dan Heng Permansor Terrae, respectively, alongside the next chapter of the Amphoreus saga and tons of other new content. In addition, Dan Heng Permansor Terrae will also be available for free to all players in the latter half of the upcoming update.
Read on as we break down all of the new content coming in Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.6:
March 7th and Dan Heng get all-new forms
‘Evernight’ March 7th
March 7th finally steps into the spotlight in the Amphoreus saga with a sinister new form in Evernight, a 5-star character wielding the Ice element and following the Path of Remembrance. According to Evernight, she embodies the forgotten past of March 7th—existing solely to protect her future.
Evernight becomes more powerful and fielded alongside other Remembrance characters and their Memosprites. While she is in the team, she increases the CRIT DMG of all memosprites, and the more characters following the Path of Remembrance present, the greater the bonus becomes.
Evernight's Memosprite, called ‘Evey,' can accumulate stacks of ‘Memoria’ to increase its damage output. Once enough stacks of Memoria are gained, Evey can immediately take action to deal DMG to all enemies. Evernight can then empower herself and Evey by using her ultimate to deal DMG to all enemies and enter an enhanced state.
Dan Heng Permansor Terrae
Dan Heng gets another power boost as Permansor Terrae, channeling the strength of the Titan Georios and his own heritage as a Scion of the Aeon of Permanence Long. Dan Heng Permansor Terrae is a 5-star character that wields the Physical element and follows the Path of Preservation, able to designate one teammate as a Bondmate and summon a Souldragon for them, all while granting a stackable Shield to the entire party.
When the Souldragon acts, it dispels one debuff from all allies and grants an additional Shield. When Permansor Terrae uses his ultimate, he deals DMG to all enemies and grants Shields to the entire team while also enhancing the Souldragon. When it acts, it performs a follow-up attack against all enemies and deals DMG based on the Bondmate's combat abilities.
Dan Heng Permansor Terrae can be claimed for free by all players who have reached Trailblaze Level 3 or above starting on 15 October, until the end of Version 4.0.
Version 3.6's first half banner will feature Evernight and a rerun for The Herta alongside their signature Light Cones. The second half will then feature Dan Heng Permansor Terrae and a rerun for Anaxa alongside their signature Light Cones.
New Anomaly Arbitration endgame mode
Aside from the two new characters, the other big addition in Version 3.6 is the ‘Anomaly Arbitration’ endgame mode. This will mark Honkai: Star Rail's fourth endgame mode alongside Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction, and Apocalyptic Shadow, with Anomaly Arbitration being unlocked once players have fully cleared all levels of the aforementioned three endgame modes.
Anomaly Arbitration consists of three trial stages and one final stage. In the trial stages, Trailblazers must form three separate teams to take on the trial stages. Clearing the trial stages will then unlock the final stage. By completing all stages, players can obtain the new ‘Interference Key’ item as well as other valuable rewards.
New map and enemies
With the continued progression of the Amphoreus saga in Version 3.6, new areas in the world, as well as new enemies are also being added. The two new areas are the Radiant Scarwood “Grove of Epiphany” and the Universal Matrix: Great Tomb of the Nameless Titan. Fearsome ‘Ichor Memosprite’ enemies can be fought in these new areas, including the Ichor Memosprite Judge of Oblivion, Ichor Memosprite Winged Serpent, Ichor Memosprite Pheasant, and Ichor Memosprite Canine.
New Cavern of Corrosion relics and events
Version 3.6 will also feature two new Cavern of Corrosion relic sets: World-Remaking Deliverer and Self-Enshrouded Recluse. The World-Remaking Deliverer set increases the Crit Rate of its wearer. It also increases the wearer's HP and the DMG of all allies if the wearer has a Memosprite and has used their basic attack or skill. Meanwhile, the Self-Enshrouded Recluse set increases the strength of shields granted by its wearer and the Crit DMG of allies under the protection of shields granted by the wearer.
The two new relic sets are clearly built for Evernight and Dan Heng Permansor Terrae, with the World-Remaking Deliverer set designed for Evernight's use, while the Self-Enshrouded Recluse set can be used by Dan Heng Permansor Terrae as well as other shielders.
A number of new events will also be available in Version 3.6, including the dromas-raising event “Nice Weather for Dromases”, the "Colorful Mayhem" multiplayer event, and the combat-focused “Try-Not-to-Laugh Challenge.” Regular events Gift of Odyssey, Planar Fissure, and Realm of the Strange will also make a return. The Conductor's Special Treat log-in event will also give players one free Interference Key, 600 Lone Stardust, and 200 Jade Feather.
Finally, this update introduces the Main Story Replay feature. Trailblazers can revisit completed Trailblaze Missions, Trailblaze Continuances, and Companion Missions, and freely choose specific story segments or cutscenes to experience once more.
