Cerydra notably shares many character design elements with popular Genshin Impact character Furina.

Honkai: Star Rail developer HoYoverse has revealed that the second 5-star character coming in this game's Version 3.5 update will be the 10th of Amphoreus' 13 Chrysos Heirs: Cerydra. 

Cerydra will wield the Wind element and follow the Path of Harmony, making her the second 5-star character in the game with this element-Path combo after Bronya. While we don't have any official information regarding Cerydra's kit yet, she may very well be yet another high-value support character if the recent trend of 5-star Harmony units is anything to go by.

Bearing many titles such as the ‘Chessmaster Monarch’, 'Flamebearer,' 'Tyrant,' 'Empress,' 'Supreme Commander,' and 'Imperator', Cerydra is the Chrysos Heir destined to carry the Coreflame of “Law” from the Titan Talanton. Cerydra is the ruler of ‘the lost dynasty’ of Amphoreus' Northern Empire, where frozen lands burn with ambitions of conquest.

While Cerydra has yet to make an official in-game appearance, her character design notably shares elements with another popular HoYoverse character: Furina from Genshin Impact. Furina was once the Hydro Archon ruling over the region of Fontaine, and even held the title of God of Justice. Both Cerydra and Furina also have white hair, and have the color blue featured prominently in their character designs.

Cerydra will join the Physical Nihility character Hysilens as the new 5-star units joining Honkai: Star Rail's ever-growing roster of playable characters in Version 3.5, which is expected to be released sometime in August. 

Honkai: Star Rail is currently in the second half of Version 3.3, with Version 3.4 set to arrive in early July. Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.4 is looking to be one of the game's biggest updates in its Version 3.x cycle. Version 3.4 will see Phainon become available as a playable character, finally letting players add the most prominent figure in Amphoreus' story so far to their rosters.

Kafka, Blade, Silver Wolf, and Jingliu are also set to receive buffs in Version 3.4, alongside a handful of story-related quality-of-life changes.

In addition, the Honkai: Star Rail x Fate stay/night collaboration event will take place during Version 3.4. The collab event will go live on 11 July, featuring two crossover 5-star characters in Saber and Archer, as well as a Fate/stay night in-game event that will see the Holy Grail War expand into a new battlefield in Penacony. Players can claim Archer for free, while Saber will be available to pull in a Special Collaboration Warp during the event.
