After failing to qualify against MeetYourMakers for another season in the LCS split, the two decide to part ways and form their own team for future aspirations. Dragonborns ended up losing a series to MeetYourMakers which would end up deciding the fate of their careers. With little options left or potential seen within the team as it attempts to drive itself into the future and not wanting to risk the shot of a simple possibility of doing well, he along with Malunoo, Extinkt, Freeze, and an undecided support will test their lucks in season 4.
This isn't the first time players have been seen leaving Dragonborns. Before the so-called "sinking ship" began with Dragonborns, Spontexx and Brokenshard also decided to leave, with the team now only containing 3 of its originating players. Here's a statement from YamatoCannon on the matter.
