Today in the LPL, Wayi Spider finds redemption, showing they are still capable of competing with the other teams through excellent execution.Wayi Spider would be looking up to redeem themselves from a 12 game lose streak going into this game against Team Livemore. Usually at the receiving end of a bad start, Spider finds a good catch onto Wayoff on Shen near the dragon area, grabbing an easy first blood and setting one jungler ahead of the other. While maintaining an early lead, it wasn't long until Team LM would find redemption first by taking the top tower and then shoving bottom lane into the face of Fan, who did not decide to base at the same time as his AD carry, allowing for Shen to dive and bring demise to the support in a 3 on 1 dive. Following shortly afer, LM picks up an uncontested dragon and puts Spider right back in the uncomfortable spot they were in at prior points in the season. https://www.gosugamers.net/general/images/2013/may/LMDiveSpider.PNG" border="0">

This is why you always base at the same time. Wayi Spider would once again encounter favorable odds near the dragon, but Varus' ult continued it's consistent nature of "most missed skilled shot in professional gaming," allowing for a free tower and double kill pick up from LM. 30 minutes in, Livemore would find themselves almost 10,000 gold ahead. Later on, LiveMore would take bottom inhibitor and attempt to end the game while Spider grabs a baron, grabs homeguards, and catches onto LiveMore. This evens things out quite substantially. As the game goes on, Wayi Spider are looking less and less helpless, and their jungler even steals the baron, allowing them to break free from their curse and finally pull out a victory. The win was heavily assisted by Easy's top lane Vi.VOD

The next game of the night would be OMG vs. Wings of Aurora with things taking off grimly for Wings of Aurora. Getting 3 kills in the first 5 minutes of the game is no easy feat, but for how absolutely dominant OMG has been as of late, it was no problem for them. With WoA not even feeling vulnerable in their own jungle, it was clear things would look unsettling. After a certain point, OMG would simply dive 1v1 without jungle assistance and make plays on their own, completely outplaying their respective lane opponents in order to extend their already commendable early lead. https://www.gosugamers.net/general/images/2013/may/OMGownage.PNG" border="0">

ogoing killing ChouD all by his lonesome. After a certain point, the pressure on the map by OMG as well as their presence in the opposition's jungle would leave WoA in tears, with their jungler sitting at 30 CS and being 0-4 just 14 minutes in. OMG reflected in a polar opposite manner, yielding insane amounts of kills on the scary bear. WoA was under complete control by OMG and they only managed to acquire 2 kills by the time the game ended. OMG continued to show why they are the hottest team in the LPL as of now. VOD

The early game of Positive Energy vs. World Elite was perhaps one of the wildest early games we've witnessed in the LPL. Diving into the second tower extremely early into the game showed the braverly of Positive Energy invading onto World Elite, but World Elite actually pulled out on top due to superior execution and the assistance of a turret. World Elite was easily able to pressure bottom and take down the tower with ease, though Positive Energy was able to accomplish the same feat shortly after in the top lane. The game was fairly slow for awhile transitioning into the midgame, with only a brief assault onto Positive Energy's mid lane before back out; however, chaos would soon ensue. https://www.gosugamers.net/general/images/2013/may/earlydive.PNG" border="0">

Well, that's an interesting spot to be at this point in the game. In a vain attempt to stop World Elite from taking dragon, WE not only secured dragon, but secured several kills within the minute of being contested, also taking down the mid turret and finding themselves quite ahead of Positive Energy after a poor blunder. Positive Energy continuously wasn't able to win exchanges, but still found themselves holding onto somewhat of an objective balance. Eventually, the heroes of World Elite were far too strong for Positive Energy to contest, which made it difficult for them to stand a chance in this game. VOD

Invictus Gaming would continue looking to assert their dominance against Royal Club for the conclusion of today's games, and they would start off with that goal looking largely visible. Even though they statrted out a whopping 3-0, Royalz Club was quick to catch up, and even secured a 2 turret lead over the powerful iG just 10 minutes into the game. Entering the midgame, the game would still remain dead even, with plays sparking off rom both sides and a very aggressive Kid pushing up into the inner turret of Royal Club. Invictus Gaming would try their luck at invading the enemy blue with little success, being driven out immediately. https://www.gosugamers.net/general/images/2013/may/iG_dominance.PNG" border="0">

Jarvan secures a 3rd kill with an awesome flash + Q. As the game progressed, iG would secure little advantages here in there, establishing a small, barely relevant lead. However, the distribution of gold was in iG's favor due to the strength of Kid on graves. After a hectic AoE fight at baron, that exact strength would put RC in their demise. After securing a baron and finding Royal Club lurking in the wrong jungle, Invictus Gaming essentially puts Royal Club in their grave even after the closeness the game previously entailed. With superior siege and vigorous engagements, iG would close out the game. VOD
