The day two of Armaggeddon Dota 2 Grand Slam is over and six teams have been knocked out of the tournament so far.
Winner bracket
Armaggeddon opened their doors to the final winner bracket quarter-finals game between ABC and Gameware today. Despite their close encounter against First Departure early last month, Gameware was unable to fend off the advances ABC made and dropped to the loser brackets.
Loser bracket
In the first game of the loser bracket between The Kade and TeleR, TeleR took control of the laning phase and had total map dominance by mid-game. The lack of map awareness was too much for the Sri Lankan team to handle and the team was sent packing.
The Kade was the first team to be eliminated from the tournament.
The game between Gizmo and NeoES.Ina was next and was the closest game of the day. Both teams were back and forth all throughout mid game with many exciting Reverse Polarity from Magnus. However, the beautifully placed Reverse Polarity was not enough as NeoES.Ina fell to Gizmo
Gizmo was later eliminated by the champion of Indonesian qualifier, TeleR Reborn.
Sole Vietnamase and Burmese representative, Gameware and -GoG, were also eliminated from the tournament after an encounter with Philippine teams, Pacific 2 and Gangster in the first game of the loser bracket.
