SK Telecom's protoss Yoon Jong "Rain" Jung has been given a direct seed into the next Code S season. One more seeded player is said to be announced soon.
Rain was supposed to play in Group E with Flying, Soo, Bbyong, Sniper and ByuN but his seeding left the group one player shorter. GomTV's official statement says that the reason why the SKT protoss has received a seed will be announced at a later date. Another seeded player is also to be revealed in the future.
In related news, yesterday marked the end of the up/down matches and the ten players to climb to Code S Season 2 are known. The merciless culling left prominent names like last season's champion Sniper as well as NesTea, HerO, Effort and alive.
