The first clash between CIS and Europe ended in a Grand Final between One Trick Pony and iTS - the perfect story for the first tournament of this kind. In the end Europe prevailed, now the CIS region is looking to take revenge.

It is time for the second clash between the greatest CIS teams and the best Europe has to offer. The first challenge of this kind featured QsQ, Team Excellent, Pikachu and One Trick Pony representing Europe and Cats Gaming, QaM, iTS and GZ to protect their home tourney. Upsets like Team Excellent, QsQ and Cats Gaming going out in the first round occurred that time, this time the organizers are hoping once again to find great and exciting competition between the teams.

Fighting for Garena.CIS are Cats Gaming, iTS, QaM and the newcomers SW4G - all four teams will also fight for a DreamHack Summer 2013 spot in the upcoming G1-Spring. So it is top notch what CIS is throwing at the European region, but those are responding with some of the best teams and newly formed promises. ex-Trademark eSports and QsQ are by far the most prominent teams, but 4 Friends and iNsania as well as Unknown might turn some heads in the competition as well. As an additional information is, that ex-Trademark eSports is not yet 100 percent sure to play in the tournament yet, depending on their return from Las Vegas, Nevada. If they arrive early enough they will play these Showmatches, if not Is Cute around Buch are going to take that spot.

Something that has changed as opposed to the first installment of this event a group stage will kick off the action and will provide a couple of more matches for the fans. All matches in those group stages will be played in the Best of One format, with the top two out of the two groups advancing.

The Semifinals are also going to be held in the Best-of-One format, one the Grand Final will be Best-of-Three. All this will go down on Sunday, April, 21st starting at 2 PM CET on the Garena.CIS stream. Several players like GuessWho`, ArchiTiger or NoVa might also take the liberty and stream their matches from the POV perspective of the respective teams, bringing additional coverage.
