The reigning champions of Najin Sword are still without a victory in Korea's premier tournament, while CJ Frost score their first win for the season.

NaJin Sword vs SK Telecom T1 #2
After getting demolished 0-2 in the opening week of OGN Spring 2013, reigning champions NaJin Sword needed a strong showing today and the first game against SKT #2 suggested that it would be so. After getting three early kills, Sword boarded the snowball train and went on a roll with SKT unable to withstand the punishment that Maknoon’s squad dished out. Surgically timed Destinies and Paranoias helped SSONG establish a good KDA while team-fights were a feast for Pray. Outplayed and critically outwarded, SKT lost the first game 18 to 5.
As game two commenced, it looked like Najin can easily take the series home. The coordination between Watch’s Lee Sin ganks and the other lanes slapped SKT 2 time after time to the point of a brutal kill lead. In addition, SSONG’s Zilean was everywhere and by the 20th minute he was involved in eight of the ten kills of Najin Sword.
A little past said 20th minute, however, the tides turned for the reigning champions as they realized one thing: they didn’t have enough damage. With Shen building full tank and Lee Sin spending his money on Ruby Sightstone, it was up to Varus and Zilean to kill people and they were not enough. In contrast, every single champion on SKT’s line-up was packing heat, from a BotRK Jax all the way down the 1/1/7 Fiddle support. A Baron kill at the 32nd minute was the last turning point and SKT got their comeback, further delaying Sword’s first victory.

CJ Frost vs AHQ Korea
CJ Frost also didn’t have the best time in week one and after their draw against SKT 1, they were in need of some actual progress. Only, AHQ Korea would not go out so easily.
First blood was given late, to a level six Karthus, and the overall passivity persisted. More than 20 minutes into the match, the two teams were dead even with CJ Frost getting a slight gold lead due to excelling in CS on top and mid lanes. As this was way insufficient to give a towering advantage, the next team fight could go either way.
Said team fight came at the 29th minute just south of Baron. An Equalizer by Shy initiated the battle and a devastating Cataclysm followed to zone three of AHQ’s members, leaving CJ’s carries to rain pain. The fight was close nevertheless with CJ winning three for two but it was all they needed. A follow-up push upon respawn gave them the first win.

Game two started with heavy lane phase prevalence for AHQ. ActScene and his Jarvan were everywhere and soon CJ Frost started to lag behind and not even their CS advantage could keep them in the gold race. Their only hope was to stall till late game and make use of their Ryze and Twitch.
And that they did, waiting till the 27th minute before engaging in a team fight whole-heartedly. The crime scene was just south the mid lane and despite getting locked in a Cataclysm, Space’s Twitch managed to not only survive but pin a triple kill for himself, essentially ending all of AHQ’s hopes to topple the titans.
