A special Feat of Strength achievement and old-school portraits will be awarded to those who commemorate this timeline landmark by simply playing a game of StarCraft 2.

Released on March 31st, 1998, the StarCraft franchise is about to hit its 15th anniversary tomorrow. To celebrate the achievement Blizzard have a special "assignment" (that's not an April Fool's joke): play at least one game in any online mode in StarCraft 2 between March 31st and April 17th to unlock the anniversary Feat of Strength achievement and the three portraits that go with it (shown at the top of the news).

Blizzard make sure to point it out that there are a certain restrictions to the rule. Playing in offline mode, campaign missions, observing or watching a replay does not count towards the achievement. Leaving the game before its official end will also prevent you from getting it so make sure to stay till the match is over.

Oh, and as a final bonus - we get to enjoy a brand new wallpaper:
