Christmas is the season of giving - especially giving back. S2 Games had a special event in store for that, as they hosted an 1v1 showmatch and the rematch of Team DivA vs. Team DogKaiser in Midwars.
The Showmatch starts 1 hour and 10 minutes into the VoD!
The event was scheduled for a fun and playful finish of the successful Heroes of Newerth year with S2 Games in front of the cameras and on the servers. Honcast and S2 Games prepared a show full of fun and competitions, starting with the Honcast Awards, followed by the 1v1 showmatch between a team of S2 Games against the reigning and defending 1v1-Champions Trademark eSports, ending in the Rematch of Team DivA against Team DogKaiser in Midwars.

S2 Games 5:4 Trademark eSports
In the 1v1 showmatch eSports commissioner Sam 'Milkfat' Braithwaite was the star of the team, eliminating three Trademark eSports players before finally falling to Limmp. DangerousDan was able to avenge that defeat in a Chipper match, before falling to the "Carry of the Year" noobG. The stage was set for an epic final encounter between former Trademark eSports captain and now Honcast co-caster Tralfamadore against the Danish Carry Player on one of Traldamadore's favorite heroes - Revenant.
Tralfamadore was able to get ahead in CS fairly early in the game, leading up to a slight advantage, before he closed the deal when he went in for the kill - winning the 1v1 showmatch for his employee S2 Games. If that means, that S2 Games is climbing on the 1v1 throne, waiting for the next opponent is not quite clear. Maybe Trademark eSports is still the Champion, just losing to the masters themselves - S2 Games.

The final event of the 4-hour show was the Rematch of Team DivA against Team DogKaiser, one that was in the making a long time. When Heroes of Newerth introduced the Midwars concept as an official mode of the game, both employees squared off for the first time, resulting in a crushing victory for the Executive Director of Heroes of Newerth Pu 'DivA' Liu.
The rematch didn't necessarily bring a cheerful DivA to the Christmas eve, as his teams lost clean on both Hellbourne and Legion, tying the series against his nemesis Matthew 'DOGKaiser' Knizacky.
If a third installment in this rivalry will occur is not known at this point.
