Three more zerg players advanced to the playoffs of the Blizzard Cup after today's matches. Thus, one protoss and zero terrans survive as the tournament enters the final stage.
Reigning GSL champion Sniper was on absolute tear today, dropping just one set to the Code S winner before him StarTale's Life and going 2-0 in all of his other matches. Life himself finished second in the group by the power of worse win-loss ratio, followed by IPL 5's runner up Violet.
Group B's result lead into a swarm-heavy playoffs bracket as both protosses Seed and Rain were left behind after managing to win just one series. They join Mvp and HerO who got eliminated in the first day, putting the playoffs picture at five zergs and a single protoss.
At least one of them will have to go down tomorrow, though, as the Blizzard Cup will see the Ro6 played through. Matches are DRG/Life and Parting/Violet.
