Two years after their first ever GSTL triumph, IM return to grab another one, this time swimming in Heart of the Swarm waters.
In the hope for another all-kill Azubu sent forth Violet as the opener but this only cost them one of their best players as against him stood Ragnarok, the zerg who almost single-handedly eliminated Axiom/Acer in the Ro8. After deflecting the early ling pressure, Ragnarok built a creep highway to support a deadly roach timing and just like that, Violet was out of the competition.
Ganzi was Azubu's second choice and although he did put a longer show than Violet, he was unable to secure more than one set for his team. If his WoL-esque marine/marauder compositions worked wonders against Ragnarok, it failed miserably against First, who abused protoss spellcasters to the maximum, locking the terran army with forcefield/time warp/psi storm combos.
First took one more set for IM in a 30-minute game against Sleep's swarm host/corruptor army and secured a healthy 3:1 lead before surrendering himself to Supernova. Once he was quickly avenged by Seed in the next game, however, Incredible Miracle were free to celebrate their first ever HotS GSTL victory.
