In what seems a bit desperate the last Foreign hope of IEM Katowice goes all out but simply can not break First's stance. Socke throws aggression and First takes it all and comes back swinging.

Socke vs First

Socke goes straight in being aggressive with a double proxy Gateway as First scouts around but just misses it. Socke jumps in with three Zealots and manages to destroy the lone Pylon powering First's Gateway and lot of probes. First manages to pull out an additional pylon just in time as the Probes clean up the Zealots and the a Stalker emerges. With two Stalkers on the field First has no problem kiting Socke's Zealots and as the match continues Socke has no choice but to tap out.

On Entombed Valley Socke went for a Stargate and additional Gateways as First expands. Socke goes in with two Phoenixes and a strong gateway force. First shows wonderful control putting down force-fields before the Phoenixes can pick them up. Socke pushes on but First already has a considerable Stalker force as well as an Immortal. Socke can't break that defense and as his units die he knows he can't come back from that and GGs sending First to 2-0 advantage.

Ohana was the third map in this series. Socke goes for early aggression once again as he brings out two Stalkers and two Zealots. First traps the two Zealots on the ramp with a well placed force field and keeps alive with more Sentries. First goes for an Immortal and breaks through of the early contain. Not being able to put up an expansion in time, First gets out a Colossi and knows he has to push. Socke has a strong Immortal force and as the Engagement occurs in Socke's base things look bleak. A long engagement happens as Socke keeps producing more Immortals and First reinforces with Stalkers and Zealots. Eventually First's forces overwhelm Socke and so First moves on the the Grand Final.
