The eight groups for the Ro32 of the last ever WoL GSL are here. The action resumes January 22nd with Creator, Symbol, Life and ByuL.
As you know, two foreigners will take part in 2013 GSL Season 1 with a direct seed being offered to Stephano and HuK surviving the Up/Down matches that were played last week.
The EG protoss, who returns to GSL after three seasons of absence, is facing none other than reigning champion Sniper on January 24th. Gumiho and Bomber are also in the group and with all three having a stellar vP records it seems like HuK has drawn a very short straw.
HuK's teammate and WCS Europe champion Stephano plays a week later, going against Bogus in the first round. With two terrans and just one zerg in his group, Stephano's lot looks easier but one can never disregard Bogus's and DongRaeGu's recent successes.
This season will also mark the end of the GSL Wings of Liberty era. After the grand finals at March 28th, the esteemed Korean league will fully transition to Heart of the Swarm.
