Dota Cinema has planned to begin this season with a bang for the Dota 2 community. DotaCinema is up with two new events so far for the community named as Smoke of Defeat and Community Raffle.
The Community Raffle event opens up at the beginning of every month in which users can donate one normal treasure chest key for which they get a raffle ticket. The raffle ticket will make the ticket holder eligible for a chance to win a part of the raffle prizepool which consist of normal treasure keys other ticket holders have exchanged with DotaCinema.
And at the end of every month the raffle will be locked and ten randomly selected raffle ticket numbers will be declared as the winners.
The second event planned by Dota Cinema, namely Smoke of Defeat, is a US/EU Open Dota 2 Tournament. The tournament will consist of 64 teams and the registration for the tournament begins on 14th of January 2013.
Also the guys famous for their weekly videos SUNSfan and Reaves are scheduled to cast few games for Smoke of Defeat.
How the tournament will be played out and over what period is still unknown. Stay tuned as we will bring up more info on this tournament as and when its available.
