The final days of the year 2012 brought success to the Gold Division team Big Boys, who were able to get the crown of the second highest league in the HonTour hierarchy.
Once again a Gold Division came to a finish, this time the representative of the Upper Bracket marched out victorious. In a intense and good Grand Final against Pencils, a rematch of the Upper Bracket Finals, Big Boys once again came out ahead. This victory not only gets them into the Diamond Division in Cycle 3, but also gives them $1,000 USD and 1,000 points for the important ranking for a spot in the big offline HonTour finals next year.
Pencils on the other side did lose the finals, but is claiming their spot in Diamond Division as well. After a disappointing first cycle in which the Swedish team lost their spot in Diamond without winning a single map, they now return on to the Prime Time League.
Following them are Druidz eSports, who won the Silver Division in the first cycle, and have completed the march through all the way to the Champions League. Fourth on the elevator up is Vitriolic Gaming. They played with Pencils together in the first cycle of the Diamond Division, but fell to QsQ 357 and QsQ 777 in their first two matches - that lead to the demotion to Gold. Now the team has changed it's roster and is looking for a shining second impression playing with the big teams.
