The 10th playday of Starladder Dota2 Star Series had just come to an end yesterday. There was a lot to watch in those 4 playdays - the return of NaVi, Team Y joined aL, fantastic results of Team Empire and the poor performance of TR and Team Fnatic yet again.
If we look closely at the league rankings, we can almost certainly say that Team Empire and Moscow5 had already made it sure that they will go to the LAN Finals. Empire showed really excellent games paired with variation of strategies (they played an amazing Wisp+Tiny combo versus EG yesterday), and they confirm the words of many dota-related people that they are one of the favorites of this season.
Another notable thing is that last year's champion, NaVi, finally played with their full roster yesterday. With good motivation on their side, they beat M5 and aL with relative ease, and we can say that they are back on track.
A few words about Absolute Legends. Recently, the organization picked up Team Y with 1 substitution - having Mania join instead of Admiration. We can say that this roster can possibly have a bright future, especially with the addition of such an experienced player like Mania. But at the moment they still lack experience in the drafting and laning phase. No one doubts their individuall skill level, so let's just wish them luck in the upcoming matches.
TR and Fnatic have been playing poorly yet again, and we can see them sharing last places with Skanes Elit. The latter replaced team BVM in Starladder while keeping their results and schedule, thus being that low in the rankings.
Today is the 11th Playday and here are the matches that you don't want to miss:
