The last couple of weeks were dominated by one team - compLexity Gaming. For the first time in a long time another team won a big tournament over the North American team, could this be the beginning of a heated rivalry?

It was almost the middle of the night when Trademark eSports received the final "gg" in their Grand Final match over compLexity Gaming. In just two maps the European roster proved that the recent team changes might have been the right move, as the former tdM was overpowered by coL numerous times. Now the team looks to be in striking distance of the dominators, setting up a nice rivalry heading into today's Redemption semi-final that could bring the scene a winner bracket final between coL and tdM once again.

That scenario is in the future, of course, as tdM has to concentrate on Tt eSports first, in order to advance to said Winner Bracket Final.

As for the Vanguard tournament tdM flat out dominated every other competitor, not dropping a single map in either stage. In the first stage, the European qualifier, they took out the likes of QsQ357, Not Panny's team and Little Fish, featuring well-known names like noobF, Handsken, Sealkid and Solen. In the main stage of the tournament they took out Little Fish again in addition to Black Sheep to reach the finals against coL. coL on the other side was flawless as well, right until they faced tdM.

The third place and therefore $250 USD went to Not Sure, featuring Swindlemelonzz, ZfreeK, Skyzoe, FiBeli3 and Sender who were able to defeat Black Sheep in the Bronze Match.

Final Standings of the Vanguard tournament:

1. Place: Trademark eSports - $1,000 USD
2. Place: compLexity Gaming - $500 USD
3. Place: Not Sure - $250 USD
4. Place: Black Sheep
