Map One saw compLexity in the driving seat for the early portion of the game. bkid was pretty much in control of the top lane against dabeliuteef, where he also picked up the Bloodlust kill with an agressive tower dive. The middle lane also went in coL's favor with MoonMeander playing one of his trademark heroes in Tundra, who was slightly in the lead with last hits over Madman. Even the unofficial "jungle" lane with Chessie and Mr.Ghost in the respective jungles went to coL, who had a huge level advantage on Keeper of the Forest over Tempest. The bright spot was the bottom lane, where Orange went after Haxxeren a couple of times - mostly with a successful gank.
Once Keeper of the Forest hit that crucial level six the initiating Ultimate Gank happened, which was followed by heavy pushes coming off with the Keeper Minions and three other members of the team. The response from Orange eSports was still a good one, because they were not able to successfully hold the defensive structures so they tried to achieve something on the other lanes to level the score. In the first heavy push they traded two towers against one tower and a carry kill, the second heavy push saw two towers against one tower in the trade.
Right after that second push a huge teamfight occured with Orange committing to a further push and coL wanting to jump and punish them for that push. In the attempt to catch Madman, Chessie blew his important ultimate and so Orange had about a two minute window to force a fight with that ultimate down. They did so in the opponents forest and just like that they almost genocided coL with a beautiful Tempest ultimate and the massive damage of Madman coming out. Not only did they win the teamfight in a very decisive manner, they also forced buybacks on Tundra and Bubbles, who got two revenge kills out of their buybacks at least.
The end of the teamfight marked the start of the farming period, with no engagements or heavy tower pushes really occuring. That fact actually seemed to favor compLexity, because Haxxeren was able to recover in farm and slowly moving up on the GPM chart - topping that chart at the 30 minute mark.
A 3-0 exchange in favor of coL and a Token of Life on Haxxeren later, the North American team was in complete control of the game sitting at a 15,000 gold and 17,000 experience lead. Orange tried to make a hold in their base, which ultimately led into another crushing team loss and two lanes getting pushed. Orange eSports saw creeps and Heroes standing in their base, uncontested, so they decided to concede and hope for Game Two.

The early game saw great individual skills that set up some incredible kills. The first big move come out from MrGhost, who made a fantastic block on bkid, that gave Orange eSports the Bloodlust kill. The next big move came out from Haxxeren, who manned up and went for a little hunting trip with one third of his maximum health and Haste. In the end he had recorded a Double Tap against Myrmidon and Ophelia, surviving with about 50 HP. It then was dabeliuteef's time to shine, who killed MoonMeander with a little bit of luck and good Ultimate bounces, only to end up being killed by Chessie, who sends his War Hounds to the support of the Suicide Bubbles.
Then all of a sudden compLexity and Orange eSports faced off in a 5v5 setting on the and coL walked out of that unscathed, gaining a huge advantage. For about 2 minutes coL made seven consecutive kills, boosting them to 7,000 gold lead with 5,000 experience ahead.
With that advantage coL just raised hell for the next couple of minutes, forcing Orange eSports to admit defeat in just 15 minutes. coL will now play either Trademark eSports or Tt eSports for a spot in the Grand Finale. Orange eSports will either face off with Dendi's JunglDevos or QsQ357 to keep their DreamHack dreams alive.
