Today has marked the passing of the LoL divison of well respected E-sport organization "Monomaniac E-sports."
Going short-lived though strong for a 3 month career with the organization, the team spoke amongst one another and decided that ultimately, they should split apart and journey along a path in which they pursue their own endeavors.
The climb is tough and the competition is fierce and unfortunately, the team was not able to shed successful light on themselves by showing domination at any large series' such as TSM's weekly invitationals or the IPL qualifiers.
The team, while not managing to really take home any noteworthy titles, has been very active in its short lived life of League of Legends e-sports and while not winning, had performed quite well. Finally, to the team's dismay, the team had begun to crumble after almost no practice time or opportunties.
Here's what the team's top lane player "Next" and Jungler "Jdwu" had to say after the inevitable.
"Without seeing many results from ourselves, we began to lose the drive to grow as a team. We let the climb and hardships of the competitive scene get the better of us. We don't have any bad blood between each other. The disband was for the better of everyone in the team. It sucks having our team break up but it was inevitable due to commitment issues and lack of practice. I feel we have let Monomaniac e-Sports down as they had high hopes for us and we didn't meet their expectations. I wish my teammates the best of luck as we go our separate ways."
Here's to hoping the best for the future of these fine competitors and may they find success in their future travels!
Former mMe Ultimus Roster:
Jack 'Chow' C.
Tom 'Ionz' R.
Joe "jdwu" W.
Curtis 'Next' W.
Justin "Jintae" D.
