Aphromoo gave a lengthy interview with in2LOL, covering a whole slew of different topics.

First on the agenda was the recent team movement that Aprhomoo has been a part of. “I just wanted a more consistent team,” he said, “rather than everyone trying to be the 'Hero' on the team.” However, he realises that his team has a lot to work on. When asked about what his team needs to practice, he said “play better as a team and practicing actual comps and not just picks to do well in lane.” On top of all that, the team is working on their picks and bans – “practicing actual comps and not just picks to do well in lane,” said Aprhomoo.

Naturally, the interview went on to discuss the role of an AD Carry. “Noone is the strongest AD player in the game,” said the Ferus player. “They all have their styles geared towards their team's playstyle.” But what about the champions themselves? “The safest AD carry to play and still do well with is Corki,” said Aprhomoo. “He has magic and AD damage and can damage from afar without being in danger.” But Aphromoo has his own ideas to switch things up a bit: “Draven gonna smash some fools at IPL5.”

Draven isn’t really a factor in League of Legends’ meta game right now, but Aphromoo had a lot to say about that. “Everyone just farms,” he said. Talking specifically about CLG’s passive style he added “it's not the most successful way to close out tournaments.” He also believes that the game is changing. “I suspect a new meta coming out in the World Championship,” said Aprhomoo. “Bruisers with similar skill sets would make a very devastating team.”

Would a more variable meta game help the game live longer? Aphromoo wasn’t sure. He thinks the game willb e around for a while, but not forever. “League will most likely be replaced by another game in 5 years,” he said. Still, he expects that he will be there “till the competitive scene dies.”
