The WCS is close to an end. Only two more events, the Asia finals and the Europe finals, remain before the Battle.net World Championship on the 17-18 of November in Shanghai, China. Additional details to be announced at a later date.
The 32 player tournament will start off with a double elimination group stage, eight groups of four players each. Players will be randomly drawn, but measures are in place to make sure each group will have players from all three continents. Group stages are best of three.
Winners to the right, losers to the left
The playoffs will follow with a single elimination bracket, meaning a loss takes you out of the competition. All matches are best of five, other the the finals which will be best of seven.
Winners will face runner-ups
