SK Telecom's Rain makes the top three of the Battle.net World, going over SEn of Gama Bears with a decisive 3-0. PartinG vs Creator grand final is incoming to close the BWC event.
After coming out second in a group with BabyKnight, Mafia and State, Rain assaulted the playoffs mercilessly, taking down foreign zergs Idra and KiLLeR 3-1 and 3-0 respectively. His onslaught was only stopped by Creator but not before all five games had to be played with the two protosses literally going set for set.
Meanwhile, SEn had taken the first place position in his Group C after day one (with KiLLeR, Grubby and HuK in it) and opened his playoffs run with a 3-0 against Curious. A second Korean died by his hands after HerO suffered a 2-3 loss and SEn went on to playing Parting in the semi-final. It was only there that he took his first serious beating and fell to the 3/4th place final after a flawless performance by Parting.
The bronze final also didn't go too well for SEn and he suffered a second 3-0 in a row after Rain's archon toilets and zealot drops were too much to handle. For his success, Rain will bank $16,000 while SEn is going home with half of that amount.
