The Siege playoffs continued in typically less-than-perfect fashion, with tonight’s game being played off-stream. Giants were able to win behind closed doors with two games to nil against Tt Dragons. Whether or not the game was as one-sided as the result suggests is obviously impossible to say, but the Spanish team will now face Curse in the upper bracket final.
Curse’s game was mostly streamed, and it was quite a show. They battled Forrelenlord’s Team Alternate and were able to squeak a 2-1 win over the Germans, who are still looking for their big break. Streaming problems abounded again, but the action that did get to air was intense. But over on the German stream, Curse were able to upset the locals and progress to the next round.
Only one game remains in the first round. Moscow Five and SK are due to play in the lower bracket but the game has been postponed. Fnatic received a bye in their game, and will surely go into their second round game against Tt Dragons as favourites.
