MuFc have avenged their defeat on the MYSG Elite Playoffs by defeating Orange 2:0 on the recently concluded MYSG Regional Finals of the Alienware Battleground Tournament.
The 16-team Regional Finals was composed of the top 8 teams on both the Open and Elite Bracket of the Alienware Tournament. Among the teams to reach this phase were Flash E-Sports and Zenith, who both made it into the Semi-Finals.
MuFc won by defeating all opposition they faced, suffering only a single loss coming in to the 2nd round from Invasion. They handily defeated Zenith and Orange E-Sports with a score of 2-0 ,on the Semi-Finals and Finals respectively. In the process, they also won $1,500.
When asked for a statement regarding the win, MuFc's Captain Sharky responded:
"We are very happy to win this title. We also welcome Ling, who came back after his medical condition [had been cleared]. We will play with the full roster starting now, we will train harder to be better. Thank you to all who are still supporting us."
MuFc joins Australian Team N9 and Indian team Elunes as the Alienware Region Finals winners. Alienware Regional Finals winners, together with the victors of various Asian Cyber Games qualifiers, will represent their countries in Dota 2 The Asia 2012 this coming December 8-9, 2012.
