CLG.Prime benches Voyboy, picks up Locodoco as Support
If you told players 3 months ahead of time what the next set of roster changes would be for CLG, every time it happened you would think they were crazy.
Yet another roster change happens in the League scene and this time it is with the team that has been around probably the longest of all the teams. HotShotGG seems to be taking a lot of the hate for it despite Voyboy claiming it was a team decision.
Was it the best for the team, though? It's hard to say. Voyboy used to be a legendary top with very unorthodox hero picks playing with an extreme aggression like no other player. CLG.Prime usually plays unorthodox strategies, but they are generally more passive with their team and one could argue Voyboy's playstyle didn't mesh well with this.
Right after the World Championships, HotShotGG explained on his stream that "he wants to show the world that NA can make it. Anyone that does not want to put in the practice time or spends too much time with their girlfriends are not taking the team seriously and I'm not going to be overly lenient this time as I was in Season 2".
Some would argue HotShotGG has been the weak link, but if it's the team's decision a as a whole, we can't know for sure. With the releasing of Voyboy, he has been replaced with Locodoco to many summoners' surprise.
The current roster is now as follows:
George "HotshotGG" Georgallidis - Top
Steve "Chauster" Chau - Jungle
Michael "bigfatlp" Tang - AP Mid
Peter "Doublelift" Peng - ADCarry
Choi "Locodoco" Yoon-sub - Support
