A lot of buzz surrounded the team of the returning fan favorite AngryTestie, who joined forces with Brized, Fittske, Ensoe, Kookiez and Jeppins to conquere this tournament. They reached the group stage of the event after two victories today. Now the competition will kick up a notch.
TheReturners, that is the name that AngryTestie and his team have choosen, and it is quite apropos. AngryTestie is coming off a long layoff after SK Gaming collapsed and former members of BaconWarriors left the game. Fittske played Dota 2 for some time and was considering a full switch to Valve's MOBA game. Brized was originally retired, he came back to help out Miikeys and Vitriolic and now he is back in business with his own team. The layoff of Ensoe and Kookiez is rather minor compared to that, with Kookiez making his comeback after ClanMilk disbanded and Ensoe coming off of the bench from compLexity Gaming to take over the starting job once again. The team gets seven chances to prove itself and claim one of the first three spots, to play for one of three DreamHack Winter Invitations.
Joining TheReturners are well-known teams like Tt eSports, Pikachu, QsQ357, Druidz, FackyouKurdi, Black Sheep and CallItKarma. All those teams, except Black Sheep who played themselves into the spotlight in the It's Gosu tournaments, have already played in the DreamHon tournament series with Tt eSports reaching the bronze spot two consecutive times.
