Liquid`s terran Young Suh "Taeja" Yoon is the second grand finalist of the MLG Summer Arena after making sure IM_First doesn't get his fifth PvT win in a row this tournament.
Opening on the terran friendly Shakuras Plateau, Taeja used multiple drops to control First's economy and scout his high templar tech, throwing a ghost academy immediately thereafter. Taeja waited till First walked out to take a third base and assaulted him with EMPs and heavy bio-upgrades for the 1-0.
The second game on Metropolis had Taeja flawlessly repelling First's DT opening and transitioning into double E-bay bio army with raven and tank support. Once again, First had indescribable troubles of taking a third base and slowly but steadily, Taeja's waves of marines and marauders beat the protoss into a corner. Still alive by some miracle, First tried to tech to storm but once a single EMP emptied five of his templars, the protoss knew that there would be no coming back.
Taeja will be playing SlayerS_Alicia for the $10,000 in the first PvT MLG grand finals since Jinro vs TT1 in 2010.
