After three days of preliminary group stage matches, The International 2012 is ready to walk the final mile. On August 31st, the race for the $1,000,000 resumes with the playoff matches.

Three Chinese, two North American, two SEA and just one European roster--the reigning champions Na'Vi--made it to the upper bracket that is to start at the end of the month with the grand finals set for September 2nd. The double elimination playoffs will have Bo3 matches in the winners bracket but Bo1's in the losers, meaning every defeat will be fatal for the teams down below.

While the brackets have not been released on the official site, the upper bracket fixtures were revealed over on joinDOTA.
