On paper it was supposed to be one of the most even matches in the entire quarterfinal stage of the tournament, the early game certainly lived up to those expectations. After ClanMilk took the kill fairly early on with three kills in a row, tdM responded with three of their own to level the score once again. For the first ten minutes basically every stat was identical with gold, experience and kills even. Then tdM throttled and overtook ClanMilk by storm with good teamfights and nice ganks that paid off big time. The even numbers quickly became a 7.000 experience and gold advantage for Trademark eSports, who were in total control of the match after a while. ClanMilk tried to mount a comeback carried by shamsz with his Dark Lady, but could only get closer with two or three won engagements before tdM delivered the final blow with an exceptional performance by noobG once more in this tournament.

The second map could be described with a boxing analogy. tdM started off swinging for the fences getting quick hits on ClanMilk early. CM then worked on the defense a little bit more and only tried to hit some jabs occassionally, mostly throught the strong right hand Kookiez. Still Trademark was able to land some body shots here and there in form of ganks initiated throught Mynuts, Limmp or fajN`. tdM was leading in points, so CM decided to go a more aggressive rout and just slug it out with tdM in the Kongor pit resulting in several buybacks and a fairly even fight. Still ClanMilk was not back in the game and the blows from tdM started to take their toll on the game. noobG was just relentless in his execution and his haymakers right to the head of CM proved to be too much to handle. In an exchange at the bottom tower CM went down hard, but could answer the count for one last hurrah. The technical K.O. in the ninth round was still unavoidable for the Group D champions - noobG was just hitting too hard.
It was not Ali vs. Frazier, but if you still want to relive two heavyweights going at it, check out the VoDs. (Cast starts at 3h 6m)

It was supposed to be a very close match with Tt eSports getting a shot at redemption for the loss in the opener against Vitriolic. The way TteS was able to take revenge was absolutely shattering, because they flat out dominated vtrl on both maps.
The first map saw just beautiful engagements by the "Australian" team, that lead to sweeping teamfights. Vitriolic managed to get the first blood kill, but couldn't really get a grip of TteS after that. wyt`was able to hit some beautiful ultimates, sLiCKz and Riser_'s initiations were spot on and the entire team synergy was just too much for the international roster of vtrl. Not even brized's Shadowblade could turn the tides in teamfights and so Vitriolic admitted defeat after just 20 minutes of play.

The second map was the LeonBlack story in the beginning. He got great laning assistence from Riser_ on Torturer so he could just dominate the early laning phase with his Magmus. His 12 minute Portal Key opened up the map for jumps and ganks and Tt eSports was in a dominant position. Teamfights were almost an exact duplicate of the map one with Tt eSports getting genocide after genocide without giving up any kills. Magmus and Moraxus brought the earth to shatter and vtrl fell victim to that brute force. 25 minutes and the game was decided and the DreamHack Summer 2012 runner-ups advanced to the semifinals, avenging the opening loss against vtrl in style.
