E-Sports Republic held their first ever DotA Open Series Grand Finals last august 18 and 20 where in the Pacific duo eMaxx and Palit and Invasion.My were seen in action.

At the Group stage, Invasion.My, pacific eMaxx ,GR16 and endLESS cruised past their respective groups with an undefeated record, While Pacific Palit, White House Gaming, bohnana and team panda still managed to qualify to day two.

The semi-finals were almost an all Filipino battle, but of course GR16 won't let that happen after defeating bohnana in the first round. At the semi final round, GR16 had to face a stronger team, in the presence of Pacific eMaxx which was too much for them handle that forced them to say "GG" and leave the game at the 16 minute mark. EndLESS had to face another pacific powerhouse, Pacific Palit.

After weeks of preparation for all the teams who qualified, the two invited teams Pacific eMaxx and Pacific Palit were just too much for them. Pacific eMaxx defeated both Bohnana and Boyet in their respective group while defeating White House Gaming and GR16 on their way to the finals. They faced their Co-Pacific team Palit who went 2-1 in their group and and then moved on to defeat Invasion.My and endLESS to advance to the finals.

The E-Sports Republic Open Series Grand Finals was somewhat anticipated by some to be owned by the Pacific duo after they were introduced before the tournament started. Well, they were not wrong both eMaxx and Palit met at the final round where they played a very entertaining championship match.

It was a really action-packed game, team clash after team clash by both teams with a 47/44 total kills at the 40 minute mark. But the game didn't stop there. The game was a nonstop killing spree, there were no dull moments.

Pacific eMaxx was crowned champions and Pacific Palit ended up as 1st runner-ups while team endLESS still managed to claim 3rd place after defeating GR16 in a do or die match.
