Ahead of tomorrow’s game against Quantic, EG’s Bulba gave some insight into his teams’s practice.

After an excellent run in the lower bracket of The Defense, the EG man talked about their SGC match: “The win should have been expected of us to be honest.” Confident words, but he backs them up with some sound logic, “since we had Furion, Tinker and Naga, I didn’t think for a second that we would actually lose the game.”

But after such an impressive streak, the natural question is why they got into the lower bracket in the first place. “At the time we played Mouz and Darer we had barely practiced,” said Bulba. Starting to practice again has been the key to their recent success, but being able to concentrate on the game itself has been a big help: “We got all the personal, real life issues out, of the picture and just played to win without the distractions.”

Speaking about their upcoming game, Bulba seemed to have positive things to say about the new line-up. “The new Quantic is a lot more versatile,” he said. “I’ve seen them run line-ups out of the old Quantic’s comfort zone.” Despite those kind words, however, he still thinks they are a beatable team because he believes they are predictable, adding “the fact that it is a best-of-3 helps since we do the best in those and not silly best-of-one games.”
