After Day 2 of the €10,400 buy-in World Series of Poker Europe Main Event in Cannes, France, there are 116 players remaining from the 327 who started Day 2. In the top 10 chip stacks site Hoyt Corkins, Jake Cody and Eric Seidel.

The official chip leader is Constant Rijkenberg, finishing with 462,800. Rijkenberg is infamous for having oversold pieces of himself at the EPT San Remo a few years ago. He went on to win but had to dole out more than the $1.5 million first-place prize he won because of his sloppy or calculated overselling of himself.

Sitting in 10th is the ever dangerous Shawn Buchanan who finished runner up to Michael Mizrachi in the €10,400 Split Hold'em event. With a first or second finish in the main event, Buchanan would temporarily overtake Ben Lamb in the WSOP Player of the Year leaderboard.

Other notables to make it to Day 3 included last year's winner James Bord, Arnaud Mattern, James Dempsey, Liv Boeree, Patrik Antonius, Joe Cassidy, Chris Moorman, Freddy Deeb, Victor Ramdin, Melanie Weisner, Mike Watson, and Carlos Mortensen.

There are 119 players remaining from the original 583, with 64 destined to make the money the money. €1.4 million, or roughly $1.9 million is guaranteed for first place.
